The Lego company is returning to the toy world with a new model that combines the popular Lego Train and the iconic “Ghostbusters” vehicle.
The new “Lego Space Station” line, which will be available in the US starting in October, will offer “Legos that are as iconic as Ghostbusters, but that also feature some of the coolest, coolest vehicles in the world,” Lego said.
“It’s a really cool vehicle for the younger generations, and that’s something we want to give them,” Lego vice president of toy design Matt LeBlanc told the BBC.
Lego has also been expanding its range of “Toys” – which are small, simple and fun to play with – with a range of new toy-building kits.
In addition to the new “Space Station” toy, Lego is launching a range that will be sold as the “Legislature” and “Legis” sets.
There will also be Lego toys based on a “Mansion”, a “Barracks” set, a “Treasury” set and a “Foyer” set.
While the “Mammoth” Lego set is a new addition to Lego’s lineup, it’s already sold out in the UK, where it’s sold out on eBay and in stores like Toys R Us and Amazon.
It’s not clear how long the line will be in the shops, but Lego is reportedly hoping to have the whole line in stores by the end of 2019.
If you want to get in on the action, Lego will be selling “Legs” as an “exclusive” item in a range which includes “Bricks” and a new “Ghostbuster” Lego model.
According to the BBC, “Ghosts” and Ghostbusters “are just the beginning of what Lego is offering up for the future”.
